Huyunh Phu So was a Buddhist reformer and one who founded the religion Phat Giao Hoa Hao, also known as Hoa Hoa.

He was also a political activist and an anti-French, anti-communist military.

After being educated by a Buddhist monk at the age of 20, he set out to be a preacher of the ideals of Buddhism.

Later in his life he began travel across Vietnam to practice herbal healing and acupuncture.
