Marx thought that the modern factories, producing large quantities of goods should not be owned by individuals.He wanted a classless,communist society. He along with his friend Frederick Engles wrote "The Communist Manifesto" to spread awareness. He also wrote Das Capital .

Karl Heinrich Marx FRSA was a German philosopher, economist, historian, sociologist, political theorist, journalist and socialist revolutionary. Born in Trier, Germany, Marx studied law and philosophy at university. He married Jenny von Westphalen in 1843.
