Karna—is one of the unsung heroes of the Mahabharata; despite being an unfortunate prince ever since his birth is the greatest warrior of Mahabharata. He fought and achieved all that a man could aspire to have. His character in Mahabharata has an endless eminence because he teaches how can one present himself better than the fortune and bring about everything with rock-hard strength of mind.
Being raised in a low-caste family, he was a victim of caste-based inequity all his life. Discarded by his princess mother, abandoned by so-called worthy teachers such as Drona, and even after becoming an accomplished and proficient archer, rejected by the the public just because of his ancestry. Karna’s story certainly generates a sense of resentment and vulnerability and perhaps that is why we tend to ignore his wrongdoings and make him our darling and most-loved tragic hero.
Though Karna was killed, he attained immortality through his charity and loyalty.
In current era we can learn a lot from the story and life of Karna. He remains a tragic figure for millions of Hindus and Indians to this day. He remains a brave hero, an audacious spirit who braved impracticable chances in his life and died with terrific courage, valour and honour to rise to immortality. He is especially famous for his generosity. He is also an example of how misjudgment renders all the fine qualities of an individual useless.
Many people consider Karna as a man who fought against misfortunes all through his life without a single pause. He never got his due but never gave up his efforts. Many great men in his times like Bhishma and Lord Krishna accomplished Karna as a gracious spirit who seldom appears in the human race. He is idealized as an inspiration for the fraught humankind not to lose heart.
