lord Curzon :- Appointed a police commision in 1902 under Andrew Frazer; set up the universities commission and accordingly the Indian universities Act of 1904 was passed ; set up the department of commerce and industry; Calcutta corporation act (1899); passed the Indian coinage and paper currency Act after that the Idea to built Victoria memorial was conceived by lord Curzon.

In 1886, Curzon became a member of Parliament for the first time. His political career started from then.
On Nov 10,1891 he became under secretary of state for INDIA in the troy government.
He was the youngest viceroy of INDIA.
