Luz long was a tall German athlete(running broad jumper),trained in the Nazi youth movement and a favourite of Hitler. But his mentality didn't match with Hitler.
Owens thought that Long didn't believe in Aryan superiority theory more than him (Owens) .
Long was a true sportsman.
