Beverley Naidoo is from South Africa. She has worked as a lecturer and adviser in cultural diversity. She has written several novels of which No Turning Back was shortlisted for the Guardian Prize and The Other Side of Truth won the Carnegie Medal and the Smarties Silver Medal.
