Minhaj al-Siraj was a 13th-century Persian scholar who was born in Firuzkuh, the Ghurid capital city in Ghor Provincial capital.

His father worked as a mystical instructor for Mohammad Ghori. Siraj began his career as a madarasa instructor under Nasiruddin Qubacha. Iltutmish brought him to Delhi and provided him with shelter. Siraj was alongside Iltutimish when he attacked Gwalior in 1231. Iltutmish named him as Gwalior's Qazi and Imam. He was recruited as the principal of Madarasa in Delhi during Razia's era.
