Mirabeau was born in a noble family but convinced of the need to do away with a society of feudal privileges. He was in support with the national assembly at the Tennis Court of Versailles. He brought out a journal and delivered powerful and motivational speeches to the crowd which were assembled in the ground there at Versailles.

Answer:

In the early stages of the French Revolution (1787 – 1799), the Count of Mirabeau was a leader of the people who went on to become a successful politician.

Explanation:

The Count of Mirabeau (1749 – 1791) was a powerful orator and seen as a moderate among the revolutionaries. He favoured constitutional monarchy and spoke out on behalf of the people. However, his later life was mired in controversy after the discovery that he was an agent of King Louis XVI.
