Answer:

In 1995, Newton was rated better according to two separate Royal Society polls - one of public opinion and one of eminent scientists. Both agreed Newton did more for science and humanity. ... Einstein had to stand on Newton's shoulders to reach for his own scientific ideas.

Answer:

Isaac Newton.

Before him laws of nature were absurd. A thing needs a force to move in uniform motion and all the matter has a tendency to stop because they get tired.

foolish.

Isaac Newton published a single book containing all the laws of motion, principle of work and energy, gravitational, explained kepler's all three laws etc.

He alone made up for the loss caused by 2000 years of aristotlean pseudoscience.

He defeated the army of ignorance, single handedly.

Albert was a rebel like him. He published three great papers same year. Brownian motion, Explaining Photoelectric effect and the third Special relativity which shattered the idea of absolute time given by Sir Isaac.

But still, No doubt that it was Sir Newton who pulled us out of the mud of ignorance. Therefore my vote goes for Newton.
