Nelson Mandela:

Nelson Mandela was a South African apartheid revolutionary, a political leader who was the president of South Africa from 1994 to 1999. He was the country's first elected in a fully representative democracy. He is also an African nationalist and socialist. He served as the President of the African National Congress (ANC) party from 1991 to 1997. He is basically known for his Anti-Apartheid movement and wrote the book- Long Walk to Freedom which was published in the year 1994. Some of his awards are the Sakhrow Prize (1998), Bharat Ratna (1990), Nobel Peace Prize (1993). Therefore, we can conclude that despite being a member belonging to a lower caste, he forgot all his disparities and became a great leader.
