pinochet was dictator who changed the democratic rule of Chile into dictatorship , he nd army of Chile forced alende ( president of Chile that time ) to resign when alende refused they started bombing his house, so he died , therefore pinochet took up the country rule in his hands ,,,, he killed several of those who supported alende nd many were reported missing , the general bachelet daughter and wife were put in prison ,,,, later on Michelle bachelet daughter of general bachelet contested the elections nd won therefore the dictatorship ended
