Private Quelch was a much learned student. He was lanky , stooping and frowning through horn-rimmed spectacles. A five minute conversation would bring out his debating skills and abilities. He loved to exhibit his knowledge. He tried to impress the instructors and the senior officers by his knowledge and his smartness. He pursuit of his ambition , He worked hard by reading the training manuals. His nickname was " PROFESSOR" .
