Rabindranath Tagore, also known as Gurudev , was an Indian poet , music composer , writer and painter . He was born may 7 ,1861 in Kolkata . He was the first Indian to get a Nobel prize in literature in 1913 for his irreplaceable work for his book , Geetanjali .
Also known as the writer of Indian and Bangladeshi National anthem ,some of his most popular works are Kabuliwala , poetries like where the mind is without fear , etc .
His pen name was Bhanu Singh Thakur . Rabindranath Tagore took his last breath on August 7, 1941 at Jorasanko Thakurbari , Kolkata .
