• In 1922 in Chauri Chaura an angry mob killed the British officer by lighting and burning a police station on fire in Chauri Chaura, 23 police officers died in this incident.
• After these Incidents, Gandhi Ji himself called off the movement.
• Also, another reason was Expensive khadi cloths as compare to the foreign textile mill cloths and common people can not afford to buy it so they again start buying foreign mill cloths.
