Rosa parks was an African-American activist in the civil rights movement and freedom-for-all movement. At that time the white people were like rulers and ruled whereas black people lived like beggars and poor people. The blacks had to respect and follow the whites.
She changed history by not giving her seat to a white man when she was travelling in bus. At that time, black people had to stand in the bus and white people could sit comfortably.
She’s known in the United States as ‘the First Lady of civil rights’ and ‘the mother of the freedom movement’.
