The answers to the questions asked from ' The Little Match Girl ' are:
- She was a poor little girl who was roaming the streets in order to sell her matches.
- She was roaming the streets of the city.
- When she lit the first matchstick she saw the warm stove from where she tried to warm herself. When she lit the second matchstick she saw a room and lavish food kept on the table. When she lighted the third match-stick she saw herself sitting under the Christmas Tree. When she lit another matchstick she saw her grandmother who she loved a lot. She did not want her grandmother to vanish like the other visions and so she kept on burning matches till she burnt along with it.
These questions have been taken from the poem ' The Little Match Girl ' which was written by Hans Christian Andersen in the year 1846. It is a lovely poem written about a little girl who used to sell matches for a living and who used to be scared by her father's scolding and loved her grandmother who has passed away.
