Socrates was an ancient Greek philosopher and who was the formal teacher of Plato. Socrates was concerned about morality and virtue and being a true example of a good and solid human being with no character flaws. He was not much of a spiritual philosopher like his student Plato, but Socrates dedicated his life to preaching empathy, human wisdom and understanding, right behavior and things of this nature.
