Sri Dev Suman was one of the freedom fighter who devoted his full life for the freedom of Tehri district in uttarakhand. He was born in tehri garhwal and he demanded for the independence of tehri district from king rule. He died during his hunger strike when he was forced to eat a chappati made from glass pieces
