Swami Ramanand Tirtha (also spelt Swami Ramanand Teerth) (IAST: Svāmi Rāmanand Tīrta) (1903–1972), was an Indian freedom fighter, educator and social activist who led the Hyderabad liberation struggle during the reign of Osman Ali Khan, the last Nizam of Hyderabad State.

Swami Ramananda Tirtha was a freedom fighter and a social activist in the city of Hyderabad. He led the liberation struggle of Hyderabad when the last Nizam of Hyderabad, was the head of the state.

Swami Ramananda was also the head of Hyderabad State Congress. He was born on 3rd October 1903 and died at the age of 69 on January 22 1972. He was a Sanyasi and before taking Sanyasa, his name was Venkatesha Bhagvanrao.
