Saraswatibai Rajwade
Saraswatibai Rajwade was the editor of female magazine suprabhat.
- Saraswatibai started writing and read a lot. Under the pen name Saraswatibai Rajwade, she had her first two works published. She then started writing under the pen name Giribale. Her home district of Udupi saw the emergence of numerous new female voices in literature thanks to the women's journal Suprabhat, which she started and published.
- In actuality, the beginning came after the conclusion. She had lost her literary identity when Saraswatibai Rajwade's work began to garner popularity in Kannada. She informed Dr. Shreevalli, who sought out this author decades earlier, that "no one named Giribaale is here."
- Shreevalli recalled how Saraswatibai Rajwade eventually conceded and admitted that she was, in fact, the author Giribaale during the Saraswatibai Rajwade Noorara Nenapu" organised by K.V. Subbanna Apta Samuha with the assistance of the Karnataka Nataka Academy and Karnataka Sahitya Academy. She had reacted angrily to Shreevalli during her visit to the writer's Udupi residence, "It's a finished story, why do you worry me by raking it up?" She had stated, "Take everything," while laying out a sizable stack of manuscripts, as though she were eager to break any last ties to her literary character.
