According to the Hindu Mythology, Manu, the son of Surya ( Sun ) was the first man to come on the Earth. Thus the name to a human was given 'Manushya'.
But, according to the research of scientists, Adam was the first man to come on Earth.

apes evolved with time to become humans but it was a group of humans which arised to form new generations..
this all started many many years ago when earth was full of forests and seas,lakes, ocean etc.
all of our ancestors lead their life of tribes..
living in forests, hunting and gathering food for a living..
