Vinoba Bhave was the 1st Individual Satyagrahi or Personal Satyagraha selected by Mahatma Gandhi on 17-October-1940. Jawaharlal Nehru was the 2nd individual Satyagrahi selected by him. Nehru was however arrested on 31st October 1940 but released in 1941.
