Pherozeshah Mehta was the founder of Bombay Presidency Association.
The association was established in 1885.
He was born on 4 August 1845.
He was a leading lawyer of Bombay.
He was also the municipal commissioner of Bombay.
And became its president four times.

As he was dissatisfied with the Ilbert's bills and the reactionary policies put forth by Lytton he along with other two members Justice Telang and Badruddin Tayabji founded Bombay presidency association in 1885 to show their opposition towards the afore said Britishers' actions.
