Raja Rammohan Roy,the father of modern India founded the brahmo samaj in 1830. The main principles of it are:
*It brought about monotheistic reform. (one god)
* Disapproved the authority of the vedas and brahmins.
* Women development .
Arya samaj was founded by swami Dayanand Saraswati. Main teachings were:
* One supreme almighty.
* Vedas are not fallible.
* Women empowerment
* All humans are equal.
* No idol worship.
