There  is no single founder or  founding incident of  Hinduism. It grew out of  cultural and religious changes in India. The Hindu belief is that gods or divinities can take many forms , but all form one universal spirit called Brahman

Hindu is a geographical words which means people who lives near the Indus river. But now a days it is used for a religion. Ancient times it was Sanatan religion but now in days it is used for any religion. Hindu word never found any place in Vedas and Puranas
