The Kingdom hold his name.
The Kingdom was found after defeating Nanda empire, and this was done when Chandragupta was 20 years old.
It's Capital was in Pataliputra.
The religions which were mostly found were Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism.
The Official language was Pali Prakrit Sanskrit.

After the name of the Chandragupta Maurya, the name of the Dynasty also named.
History Before that---
Buddhist Records speaks that Chandragupta Belonging to the ''Moriya Clan''.
Along with the Chanakya, and his advice, Chandragupta defeated the Ruler of Magadh, Dhanananda and set up the Mauryan Rule there.
Dhanananda was very unpopular among the Peoples and also a very Cruel Leader.
The Capital Of Magadh is Patliputra.
After Defeating the Dhanananda, Chandragupta also married to his Daughter, named Nandani. They have a son whose name was Bindusar, who succeeded the Chandragupta Maurya and became the Second Ruler of Mauryan Dynasty.
