The founder king of the Mughal empire was Babur. He invaded many rulers like Ghazni and Ibrahim Lodhi. He was very ambitious to rule India. He conquered Punjab in the beginning. After Punjab, he defeated Ibrahim Lodhi at Panipat and got Delhi.

The Mughals started their winning in India for around 2 centuries from 1526 to 1761. It was their administrative abilities that they were able to lead for such a long period.

After Babur, Humayun (his son), Akbar, Jehangir, Aurangzeb became the king. The last Mughal emperor was Bahadur Shah Zafar from 1837 to 1857.
