Presently, Muivah remains the senior-most Naga National council leader.

Nagas are not a single group tribal community they are broad ethnic community they spread over their neighbourhood states such as Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Manipur, they belongs to Indo Mongoloid family. Peace agreement signed between Union government and NSCN(I-M) in 2015 after tedious effort of central government but this peace agreement not attain their final sphere because of they demand separate flag and neighbourhood talks.
