Sanskrit teacher of Mahatma Gandhi was Krishn Shankar .Gandhiji has written:—Gandhiji stated studying Sanskrit in his 4th class.
He liked to study geometry as this subject do not need memorisation and easier to learn.
However the subject of Sanskrit needs everything to remember.
So, he didn't like Sanskrit. Gandhiji wrote that his Sanskrit teacher was very strict. Farsi teacher wasnot very strict.
Due to this, children loved him. Gandhiji attended Farsi class as well.
