The Mysore kingdom was a kingdom that was found in the southern part of India. The successful kings of Mysore were Narasaraja Wodeyar and also Chikka Devaraja Wodeyar. These kings were succeeded by Defacto ruler who is Haide Ali and his son known as Tipu sultan. During the Wodeyar family's reign, the Mysore kingdom witnessed large expansions such as what is now known as southern Karnataka. The Wodeyar family made Mysore kingdom to be known as the most developed urbanised regions of India.
