Dorabji Tata was the son of Jameshetji Tata who worked on the cloth industry and later moved to building iron and steel industry. Unfortunately Jamshedji had died due to health failure. So his son Dorabji Tata as a token of respect had finished his father's last project in the year 1907 and successfully established the first Steel company of India namely Tata Iron and Steel Company ( TISCO ). It was set up in Kulti, Jamshedpur in Jharkhand.
