HEY MATE ☢Timur, also known as Tamerlane in Western scholarly literature, was the Turkic ruler of the Timurid Empire. He became aware of the weakness and quarreling of the rulers of the Delhi Sultanate, so he marched with hisarmy to Delhi, plundering and killing all the way.

Timur also known as timurid
He was a Mughal emperor ( not one of the great Mughals since he existed before the Mughal Empire formed)
Invade Delhi but didn't kill many people like Genghis Khan. They soon after lost the sultanate when Babur came to rule
But after years of wandering Babur captured Delhi and Agra by defeating Ibrahim Lodi in Panipat
However Timur is known as the greatest Mughal and all rulers have a painting with Timur next to him
Hope this answer helped you
Sorry for the delay
