Tipu sultan is son of Hyder Ali and his father was a minister in court of the wadeyar Dynasty Tipu Sultan spent his childhood days in srirangapatanam playing sheep and tiger he always used to be a tiger still the toy of a tiger is kept in Bangalore summer palace of tipu Sultan at age of 15 Tipu sultan started learning shooting Sanskrit , pursian , Kannada etc he had waged war against many kingdoms at a young age and he had killed a tiger with his sword so he was known as tiger of Mysore
