who was Toto and how did he come in house?

Answer:

Toto was a small monkey who was brought by the grandfather. Since grandmother didn't like the new addition of animals in her house he was kept hidden from the eyes of a grandmother. It was kept in the narrator's closet in his room. Hope i helped you ;)
