Tricki is a pet dog of the Mistress.He is pampered and overfed by his mistress.He is given much nutritious food.This made him hugely fat.He has bloodshot and rheumy eyes.He was seriously ill.He was taken to the surgery by Dr.Herriot .The doctor gave no food to Tricki but gave a plenty of water for two days.Slowly the dog started showing interest in his surrounding and began mixing with the other dogs at the surgery.Herriot had not given given any medical treatment and recovered quite well.

Mr. Herriot hospitalised Tricki for about a fortnight to keep under observation. For two days, he gave no food to Tricki but plenty of water and exercise. After the fortnight, Tricki was in shape
