who was Valli ? what was her strongest desire ?

Valli was a confident girl who did not think that her age was a limitation to her travelling alone to the town. She considered herself a grown up and acted like one.

A source of unending joy for Valli was the sight of the bus that travelled between her village and nearest town, filled with a new set of passengers each time it passed through her street. Her strongest desire was to ride that bus atteast.
