The constitution of 1791 gave political rights only to the richer sections of society . A large part of society was declared as passive citizens . So it was convinced by all to carry forward the revolution.Political clubs became important rally point for people who wished to discuss government policies and plan their own form of section . The most successful club of all was the jacobins club , which was named after former convent of st.jacob . The jacobins mostly belonged to the lower sections of society. They brought about revolution by changing their clothing style and insurrection of the palace of tulieries and massacring kings guards . Which finally led to the new elected assembly called the convention .
