(i) It got its name from the former convent of St Jacobin in Paris.
(i)The members of the Jacobin club belonged mainly to the less prosperous sections of society.
(iii)Their leader was Maximilian Robespierre.
(iv)these Jacobins were also known as sans- culottes.
(v)On 21 September 1792,the Jacobin club abolished monarchy and declared france a republic.
