Kauravas and Pandavas were the princes of Kuru dynasty, Pandavas being sons of Pandu, K unti and Madri whereas Kauravas being sons of Dritrastra Gandhari. They were great rivals. Kauravas were 100 in number, eldest being Duryodhan whereas pandavas were 5 in number namely Yudhishthir, Bhim, Arjun, Sahdev, Nakul.
