The Raja of Datarpur was made prisoner without a blow, but the Jaswan Raja resisted and his two positions at Amb and Akarot (Himachal Pradesh) were attacked and carried with little loss. The Rajas were deported, their palaces were razed and their possession confiscated. Bedi Bikrama Singh of Una also Joined the insurgents and marched towards Hoshiarpur. He halted at Maili when heard about the defeat of Raja Jaswan and fled to the camp of Sher Singh. His possessions were confiscated, but at the end of the war he gave himself up and was allowed, to reside at Amritsar.
