By all means, supernatural entities exist in real world. I recently answered two similar questions on Quora, one asking to share personal stories of paranormal experience and one related to “ghost sightings” and why they are not more widespread if real. I will quote from the one I answered regarding Spirits (and “ghosts” as one type of Spirit) and 16 learnings from Spirit experience and study. Here it is:
“I have learned many teachings from my experiences with many different kinds of spirits. Here’s some of what I have learned from direct experience and from studying the variety of spiritual experiences, stories, perceptions, and conceptions of spirits in our many wisdom (i.e. religious and spiritual) traditions. Learnings include:
1.Spirits do not like to be called “ghosts”. It’s like plants – 90% who are medicinal – do not like being called “weeds”. What we call “ghosts” is just one type of spirit.
2. Persons that are not open to intuiting spirits will never experience them voluntarily. This doesn’t mean that they will never experience a visitation, but even when they do, many persons will dismiss the mysterious experience as nonsense.
3. Persons that don’t respect or accept that mystery is the root of all religion and spirituality will never experience spirits voluntarily. Constricted religious beliefs and dogmas are as much a barrier to experiencing the “subtle realm” of spirits just as much as an inflated view of reason, logic, and science.
4. Spirits and spiritual experience have a logic and science of their own. It’s just a different type of logic and science enclosed within the qualities of mystery and subtlety.
5. There are many, many types of spirits. What I mean by spirits are beings of organized energy that have a level of memory, consciousness, intentionality, and care. What are commonly called “ghosts” and “angels” are just two examples of spiritual beings.
