Third Estate were the group of people like peasants and poor farmers protested against heavy burden of taxes and scarcity in France . The revolution had come about with the support of the commoners I.e third estate - workmen , artisans ,peasants and agricultural labours . Emergence of middle class help French Society as they believed that no group in society should be privileged by birth . This class envisaged a society based on freedom and equal before law and an end to privileges .
