Answer :

6.

Now, the sum of -13/5 and 12/7 is

= -13/5 + 12/7

= (- 91 + 60)/35, since LCM (5, 7) = 35

= -31/35

and the product of -31/7 and -1/2 is

= (-31/7) × (-1/2)

= 31/14

∴ the required answer be

= (-31/35)/(31/14)

= -14/35

= -2/5

7.

3 2/5 = (15 + 2)/5 = 17/5

Now, the cost of 17/5 m rope is
Rs 12 3/4 = Rs (48 + 3)/4 = Rs 51/4

∴ the cost of the rope per meter is

= Rs (51/4)/(17/5)

= Rs (51 × 5)/(17 × 4)

= Rs 15/4

= Rs 3 3/4

-13÷5+12÷7=7×-13+12×5÷7×5=-31÷35.
then we want to get the product of -31÷7×-1÷2
=31÷14..
the we want to divide -31 ÷35 ÷ 31 ÷14.. by taking reciprocal we get; -31÷35 × 14 ÷ 31 = -434÷1085 is the answer.. if it is wrong don't blame me..
