cuscuta is a leaf less ,twining,parasitic plant belongs to morning glory family .The cuscuta contains no chlorophyll and instead it absorbs food through haustoria .they r root like structures that penetrate the tissue of a host plant and may kill it .The cuscuta seed germinates forming an anchoring root and it envelops the host shoot
