Of course. The pet i most like is a dog, because:

- They are fun to play with

-The can protect you maybe even save your live

-The puppies are so cute that wen my girlfriend saw that my dog had puppies she starten crying(of cuteness)

-and they help you make new friends

Cats are also good pets but i a rather choose a dog than a cat.
