What is Pressure?
Force exerted per unit area is know as Pressure.
Which means force is directly proportional to the pressure exerted.
The unit of pressure is
Newton/meter^2 = Pascal
1 Pascal is said when 1N of force exerted in 1m^2 of area.
And Pressure is inversely proportional to the area occupies it.
Hence, if area decreases then the pressure increases.
Now, in the Question if a block and nail of same mass taken it exert same force but as the surface area of nail is too less in comparison to the block it exerts much more pressure than the ball.
1kg of nail exert more pressure than 1 kg of block. [ANSWER]
