Answer:

Dear Friend,

Your question was:

A ball of string is 10m long. You require 250cm. What percentage is left?

The answer to your question is:

10m=1000cm

You require: 250cm

250/1000*100=100/4 which in turns is equal to 25.

Therefore, you used 25% and you are left with 100%-25% which is 75%.

So, your answer is 75%

Hope it helped

If it did,

Plz mark brainliest ☻☻

Thanks,

Solution:
Total Length=10m
We know that,
1 m = 100 cm
Required Length =250cm =(250/100)m =2.5m
Length Left =(10-2.5)m =7.5m

Percent of Length left
= {(Length left/Total Length)*100}%
= {(7.5/10)*100}%
= 75%

Therefore, 75% of the string is left.
