Energy = power × time

TV:
power = 500W
time = 30 min = 30×60 = 1800s
Energy consumed = Pt = 500×1800 = 900000J = 9×10^5J

Heater:
power = 600W
time = 20 min = 20×60 = 1200s
Energy consumed = Pt = 600×1200 = 720000J = 7.2×10^5J

So energy consumed by the TV is more.

Formula of Energy

= Power × Time

Power of TV = 500W

Time = 30 min

Change into second :-

= 30×60 = 1800s

Energy consumed

= Power × time = 500 × 1800

= 900000 Joule

= 9 × 10^5 Joule

Power of Heater = 600W

Time = 20 min

Change into second :-

= 20×60 = 1200s

Energy consumed

= Power × time

= 600 × 1200

= 720000 Joule

= 7.2×10^5J

Energy consumed by the TV is greater than heater.
