Answer:

Yes, I have experienced the horrifying event of being away from my home during a thunderstorm. It was truly one of the most scariest experiences of my life and I still remember every single bit of it , even though it took place 6 years ago, when I was a 7 year old. It was a beautiful morning , the sun was shining brightly. My parents and I were planning to go to the park together with our family friends. I was really excited , because I was about to meet my best friend . Her parents were very good friends of my parents and eventually, their daughter and I ended up becoming the best of friends. We assembled at my home , when my parents - who were both doctors, got a call from the hospital stating that it was an emergency and they needed to report to the hospital as soon as possible. I was sad that my parents would not be able to accompany me on this awesome day. So , we had to go to the park without them. We reached the park , and my best friend and I were off playing badminton. We were both giving it our best and trying to win , when all of a sudden raindrops started pouring down. We were returning to her parents , but as I was pretty exhausted from all the badminton earlier , I sat there for a few minutes catching my breath. I almost felt my body tremble , when I heard thunder. Suddenly , the bright sky was turning into a dark and gloomy sky . At this point , it began to rain very heavily. I didn't have the courage to go and find my best friend's parents , so I found a nearby tree and sat under it ,shivering. I began to cry hearing the lightning. After 5 minutes , I hear a very familiar voice calling my name. It was none other then my best friend's dad. He finally found me under a tree , wet and shivering. He gave me his jacket so that I could wear it and carried me in his arms till we reached a shelter where my best friend and her mom were waiting for us . They let out a sigh of relief as soon as they saw me and hugged me tight. After the rain stopped, we went back to my parent's home. I was glad to see them. My best friend and her parents told my parents about everything that happened in the park. My parents were relieved to see that I was alright and thanked their friends for taking care of me.

I TRIED MY BEST... IF YOU ARE SATISFIED WITH MY ANSWER, PLEASE DO MARK ME AS BRAINLIEST. THANKS!
