Panchatantra Tales was written by Vishnugupta Sharma in the 2nd century B.C. The Panchatantra Stories are over 5000 years old. Panch means five, and tantra refers to codes of conduct. These stories were largely based on animal characters, making it very interesting for children.each story has a moral & philosophical theme which has stood the test of time and so is true even in morden times-an age of atomic fear and madness.
